Bates & Associates is the architect for Branson Ridge Winery LLC’s winery in Branson. The engineers are Colvin Jones Davis LLC, mechanical, electrical and plumbing; Wells & Scaletty LLC, structural; and Anderson Engineering Inc., civil. Land planning for the project is by Bill Yung. Nabholz Construction Corp. is the general contractor for the winery, which has an estimated cost of $8.1 million. The facility is designed to draw visitors who want to learn about Missouri wines and juices, including how the grapes are grown and wines are produced. There will be a museum, an exhibition kitchen, specialty market, winery grounds, bistro and event facilities. Architecturally, the project is a stone barn designed with the feel of the 1890s, an Americana barn circa 1918, and a 1930s look for the grocery. Completion is slated for spring 2009.
