Posted online
The Arc of the Ozarks promoted three people and hired another to start in management positions this month.

The nonprofit's former executive vice president, Mike Powers started Jan. 1 as president and CEO of the organization that aids the developmentally disabled.

In a news release, he introduced three officers, two of which were promoted from within and another hired from outside the organization.

Tim Dygon started Jan. 2 as vice president for program services, a promotion from his role as assistant to the vice president.

Chip Wolf comes to The Arc from Great Circle, formerly the Boys & Girls Town of Missouri, where he worked as vice president and chief program officer. He begins his duties at The Arc on Jan. 20 as vice president of operations.

Marybeth Kleinsasser began her new role as director of human resources on Jan. 2. She replaces retiring director Doug Wallner. Kleinsasser has worked in The Arc's human resources department since 2011, the release said.

"She has been instrumental in helping us maintain some 1,000 employees. We are staff-intensive, and Marybeth’s expertise is an asset for us," Powers said in the release.

The Arc of the Ozarks claims some 800 clients with a budget of $33 million, and it was incorporated as a nonprofit in 1964.
