Apple posted quarterly earnings of $11.6 billion, or $2.46 per share, on revenue of $58 billion.
That's down from revenue of $61.1 billion and earnings per share of $2.73 a year earlier.
However, the results beat analysts' expectations of $57 billion in revenue and $2.36 in share earnings.
