While iPhone sales were roughly flat, Apple's earnings still jumped 32 percent in the latest quarter.
Net income came to $11.5 billion on revenue of $53.3 billion. The revenue was a new record for the company's fiscal third quarter.
During the latest quarter, Apple sold 41.3 million iPhones, up slightly from 41 million a year earlier.
