Apple temporarily closes California stores as virus surges

Apple temporarily closed all of its 53 California stores as the coronavirus surges in the state.

It's also temporarily shuttering 16 stores in the United Kingdom.

"We take this step with an abundance of caution as we closely monitor the situation and we look forward to having our teams and customers back as soon as possible," a spokesperson said.
