Apple recalls 12 years worth of power adapters sold outside US

Apple Inc. is recalling AC adapters sold outside the U.S. between 2003 and 2015.

The adapters were sold in continental Europe, Brazil, Argentina, Australia, South Korea and New Zealand. The company did not say how many adapters would be included in the recall.

According to The Wall Street Journal, the power adapters have pins that can break off in sockets. The issue has caused a dozen incidents that resulted in people being shocked.
