Apple announced plans to invest $99.3 million in renewable energy in China.
The investment goes toward the second phase of the company's China Clean Energy Fund.
During the first round, which called for a nearly $300 million investment in partnership with Chinese suppliers, Apple developed more than 1 gigawatt of wind and solar projects in 14 Chinese provinces.
