Apple lets iPhone defectors get texts again

If you switched from an iPhone to a different device, you might have noticed you weren't getting texts anymore, even if you kept your old phone number.
 
For months, Apple said it was working on a fix to the problem of its iMessage system grabbing former users' texts and storing them instead of delivering them. CNNMoney reports the fix has finally been released.
 
Visit the Apple website, enter your phone number and Apple will send you a text with a code that cancels the iMessage service, allowing old, pent-up texts to flood your new device.
