Apple joined two French billionaires pledging millions of dollars to rebuild the Notre Dame cathedral that was severely damaged by a fire on Monday.
Francois-Henri Pinault, the CEO of French luxury group Kering, which owns Gucci, pledged 100 million euros, or $113 million, on Monday night. Bernard Arnault, the chair of LVMH, which owns Vuitton, doubled that pledge with 200 million euros, or $226 million.
Apple also will donate funds, though the size of its pledge is unknown.
