Apple falls below $90 as iPhone worries fester

Shares of Apple Inc. (Nasdaq: AAPL) yesterday dropped below $90 for the first time in two years as worries over slow demand for the new iPhone continue to influence investors.
 
Component suppliers in Taiwan reportedly will receive fewer orders from the Cupertino, Calif.-based company in the second half of 2016 compared to last year.
 
Shaken confidence stems from Apple’s first quarterly decline in iPhone sales and the company’s first decrease in revenue since 2003.
