Apple employee's death at HQ ruled suicide

Posted online
An Apple employee found dead at the company's Cupertino, Calif., headquarters on Wednesday committed suicide, according to the Santa Clara Sheriff's Office.

The 25-year-old man shot himself in the head. He was found dead at the scene inside an Apple conference room.

Apple didn't immediately respond to a request for comment late Thursday. It's unclear what job the man held at the company.

His death came a day after Apple posted its worst quarter in more than 10 years.
