Apple boosts starting pay for US workers

Apple is raising the starting pay for its U.S. employees.

The minimum pay is going up to $22 per hour. That's a 45% increase from 2018 levels.

"This year as part of our annual performance review process, we're increasing our overall compensation budget," a company spokesperson said.
