Apple becomes first US company worth $1T

Apple yesterday became the first public company in U.S. history to be worth $1 trillion.

The company’s shares on the Nasdaq hit a new high above $207 to mark the major milestone.

Apple shares have risen by 1,100 percent since iPhones first went on sale in 2007, according to BBC News.
