Antivirus software pioneer indicted for tax evasion

Antivirus software entrepreneur John McAfee was arrested after being indicted for tax evasion.

McAfee faces extradition to the United States after being arrested in Spain.

McAfee, 75, was charged in a June indictment that was unsealed Monday. He allegedly evaded taxes by failing to report millions of dollars earned promoting cryptocurrencies, engaging in consulting work and taking on speaking engagements.

McAfee is known for his namesake antivirus software.
