Anthropic's $1.5 billion settlement of a copyright lawsuit has been given the green light by a federal judge.
The lawsuit was brought by a group of authors who accused Anthropic of using their books to train its AI chatbot Claude.
The settlement is reportedly the largest in a U.S. copyright case to date.
