Justice Anthony Kennedy announced he's retiring from the U.S. Supreme Court.
Kennedy, who's viewed as a crucial swing vote on the Supreme Court, is retiring at the end of July.
Kennedy, 81, said it was "the greatest honor and privilege to serve our nation in the federal judiciary for 43 years, 30 of those years in the Supreme Court."
