Anthem faces St. Louis County lawsuit over data breach

A group of lawyers filed suit in St. Louis County Circuit Court against three insurance agencies affiliated with Anthem Inc. over its recent data breach.

The suit alleges Anthem and affiliated insurance companies did not adequately provide safeguards to protect customer data.

The lawyers are seeking class-action status for the suit, according to the St. Louis Business Journal.
