Another Jack Henry closing in KC after 83 years

After 83 years in the Country Club Plaza in Kansas City, Jack Henry is closing. But not Monett-based technology firm Jack Henry & Associates Inc. (Nasdaq: JKHY).

This Jack Henry, a men's clothing store, is holding a going-out-of-business sale that starts June 5, according to the Kansas City Star.

Clothing store Jack Henry was founded by Jack Downing Henry, a native of Liberty. He studied merchandising at William Jewell College in the early 1920s before dropping out to work full time in a Liberty haberdashery.

The store specializes in business attire.
