Anonymous donor gives $100K to keep STL homeless shelter open

An anonymous donor has given $100,000 to keep a St. Louis homeless shelter open downtown.

With the donation,  the city has put plans to create a new shelter on hold.

The city said the current shelter, known as the Centenary, would stay open for six months with the $100,000 funding.
