Annual Business Class winners announced

Five winners of the fifth-annual Business Class were announced during a ceremony Friday at Highland Springs Country Club. Ten finalists were honored overall.

Hosted cooperatively by UMB Bank, BKD LLP, Lathrop & Gage LLP and Springfield Business Journal, the awards recognize companies for financial performance, innovation and community involvement.

Top honors went to:
    •    CoxHealth;
    •    Everything Kitchens LLC;
    •    Jared Enterprises Inc.;
    •    Phoenix Home Care Inc.; and
    •    S&H Farm Supply Inc.

Top executives of the winning companies receive an all-expenses-paid executive retreat to Napa Valley, Calif., this fall.

Other honorees were:
    •    American National;
    •    Grooms Office Environments;
    •    KPM CPAs PC;
    •    MaMa Jean’s Natural Foods Market LLC; and
    •    Penmac Staffing Services Inc.

The winners were chosen by an independent panel of judges comprising Rayanna Anderson of Missouri State University; Sherry Coker of the Ozarks Technical Community College’s Center for Workforce Development; Stephen Kleinsmith of Nixa Public Schools; Kelley Still of Drury University; and Carol Taylor of Evangel University.
