Anjanette LaBellarte

Posted online
With the support and encouragement of the two most important people in her life, Anjanette LaBellarte has come a long way in a short amount of time.

“My daughters Ariah, 12, and Adria, 9, have been the most influential (to) my career,” she said. “They are the ones who encourage me to get out of bed every morning and work hard. As a single mother there have been times I didn’t think that I could do it all, but I look at them and they look at me and I say, ‘Let’s go girls!’”

LaBellarte started 2003 as a stay-at-home mom, but she was forced to find a job to support her family when she became a single mother.

With hard work and study, LaBellarte found a full-time position in sales in 2004. She recently was recruited an account executive for Welcome Wagon.

At Welcome Wagon, she is responsible for sales of advertising and marketing programs that promote area businesses to new homeowners.

“In just three years I’ve moved from government assistance to independence and assisting others,” LaBellarte said. “Thanks to the help of some wonderful and influential people in the Springfield community, I have really learned and grown as a person and as a professional. I have discovered the importance of giving back to the community through involvement in various charity groups, and it feels great.”

LaBellarte volunteers with the Springfield Area Chamber of Commerce membership drive, is membership chairperson for Springfield Business Network, volunteers annually for Rock’n Ribs and is an instructor for Hit No More, a class for abused, battered and abusive women.

She’s also a PTA volunteer and, with her daughters, supports the Pregnancy Care Center by participating in the center’s annual Walk for Life.
