Anheuser-Busch cuts back on Super Bowl ads

Anheuser-Busch said yesterday it is running only three minutes of ads in the 2015 Super Bowl, a 25 percent drop from the four minutes of advertising in the 2014 Super Bowl.

The company also will only air three commercial during the game, down from its five a year ago, according to the Chicago Business Journal.

Anheuser-Busch plans to run two 60-second Budweiser ads, one called "Lost Dog" that features the Clydesdales helping a lost puppy and a second spot that will focus on the craftsmanship of the beer. Another 60-second spot would showcase Bud Light in a commercial entitled "Coin."
