Anheuser-Busch caught in Bud Light Lime-A-Rita class action lawsuit

The labeling of Bud Light Lime-A-Ritas is at the center of a class action lawsuit that was filed against Anheuser-Busch in November.

The suit alleges A-B deceptively labeled the beer line as low in calories when it actually contained more calories than its other beer products, according to the St. Louis Business Journal.

The suit seeks class status for anyone who purchased any flavor of Lime-A-Rita line since it was introduced in 2008.
