Angie's List shuts down billionaire's takeover bid

Angie's List yesterday shut down a $512 million takeover bid from Barry Diller's media company IAC/InterActiveCorp.

The company said the offer was "dramatically" too low.

While the $512 million offer represented a 10 percent premium when it was made last week, Angie's List shares have since climbed over 26 percent.
