Forbes’ annual list of the World’s Highest Paid Athletes is out and the top two men recently beat each other to a pulp.
With the nickname “Money,” it’s no surprise boxer Floyd Mayweather topped the list, bringing in $300 million.
Recent competitor Manny Pacquiao nabbed the second spot on the list at $160 million, just over half of winner Mayweather’s earnings.
Two soccer stars Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi take spots No. 3 and 4 with just under $80 million each, and long-time tennis great Roger Federer rounds out the top five with $67 million.
This year’s list only includes two women – tennis players Maria Sharapova at No. 26, with $29.7 million, and Serena Williams at No. 47, with $24.6 million.
The 23-year-old soccer phenom Neymar is youngest on the list at No. 23, with $31 million, and the 44-year-old Phil Mickelson is oldest at No. 8, with $50.8 million.
Last on the list, at No. 100, is NBA player James Harden with $18.8 million.
