Analyst: UMB's stock price to recover

UMB Bank announced in early September it would be losing a $1 billion deposit customer within 120 days, and to compensate, would be selling 3.9 million shares of common stock.

According to Stern Agee analyst Peyton Green, UMB Financial Corp. stock should drop from $66 per share to $62 according to the Kansas City Business Journal.

UMB’s Scout Funds subsidiary should provide strong income growth as it reported inflows of 24 percent in August, which contributes to UMB’s common stock recovery.
