Arkansas' most well-known political son is helping Democrats in his home state avoid a Republican sweep in the midterms.

Former President Bill Clinton recently headlined a series of rallies during which he countered the anti-Barack Obama sentiment that's boosted Republicans' ranks and put them on the verge of taking over the state's top offices, Associated Press writer Andrew DeMillo writes. After all, President Obama has called Clinton the "secretary of explaining stuff."
