Amtrak hires former Delta exec as CEO

Amtrak named a former Delta Air Lines (NYSE: DAL) chief as its next president and CEO.

Richard Anderson is scheduled to start July 12.

He'll serve as co-CEO with Wick Moorman through the end of 2017. Moorman then will become an adviser to the company.
