American Airlines delivered fourth-quarter results that were lower than analysts' expectations.
Adjusted earnings per share of 16 cents were below expectations of 34 cents per share. Revenue was $14 billion, lower than projections of $14.03 billion.
The company struck an upbeat note for 2026, projecting its focus on premium would "begin delivering results."
