American Airlines has reached a tentative agreement with the Association of Professional Flight Attendants union.
The deal avoids a strike and gives union members their first collective raise in five years, Quartz reports.
Negotiations have been ongoing since the last contract for American Airlines flight attendants ran out in 2019. The negotiations were reportedly interrupted by the COVID-19 pandemic.
