American Airlines has cut its 2026 earnings forecast due to a surge in jet fuel costs, CNBC reports.
The company is now projecting an adjusted per-share loss of 40 cents up to earnings of $1.10 a share.
American Airlines reported a first-quarter adjusted loss per share of 40 cents. Analysts expected a loss of 47 cents.
