Ameren Missouri is intending to build a nearly 30-mile transmission line in Callaway and Montgomery counties.
The transmission line would connect existing electrical substations to the Grain Belt Express multistate power line.
Ameren submitted a request for the project to the Missouri Public Service Commission last month.
