AMC Theatres announced it would change movie ticket prices based on seating.
The Sightline at AMC initiative will have customers pay more or less for admission depending on where they choose to sit in the venue. Front row seats, for example, would be available at a lower price, while seats in the middle of the theater would sell for higher.
The initiative is scheduled to be expanded to all AMC locations by year's end.
