Officials with AMC Entertainment Holdings Inc. said the movie theater operator may run out of cash by year's end.
That's if the chain does not raise additional funds or bring back more customers amid the coronavirus pandemic.
While the company has reopened 494 of its 598 U.S. theaters, attendance is down 85% on a same-cinema basis compared with the equivalent period last year since reopening began.
