Leawood, Kansas-based AMC Entertainment Holdings Inc. is accused in a federal lawsuit of illegally sharing customer information with Facebook.
The plaintiffs are seeking class-action status for the lawsuit and statutory damages of $2,500 per violation, punitive damages, attorney fees and expenses.
The movie theater chain is accused of violating the U.S. Video Privacy Protection Act.
