Amazon unveils one-hour delivery service

Amazon.com Inc. rolled out its Prime Now quick-delivery service on Thursday, starting with one zip code in Manhattan.

The program promises deliveries in as little as an hour between 6 a.m. and midnight.

According to the Wall Street Journal, Prime Now will expand to other cities next year. The charge for one-hour delivery is $7.99, with two-hour delivery being free.
