Amazon is opening a new plant in the Seattle area that would build satellites.
Through Project Kuiper, Amazon has plans to launch more than 3,000 satellites into orbit.
The satellites would provide high-speed, low-latency broadband to homes, schools, hospitals and businesses without reliable internet connectivity.
