Amazon to hire 100,000 workers amid coronavirus shutdowns

Amazon announced plans to quickly hire 100,000 new warehouse and delivery workers.

The hires are meant to help the company fill a flood of orders as Americans stay at home during the coronavirus pandemic.

The company plans to raise pay for some employees by $2 per hour through April.
