Amazon announced this week that it would add same-day and next-day Prime shipping to more than 4,000 small towns and rural communities in the United States.
The expansion would be assisted by $4 billion in infrastructure investments through 2026, according to Quartz.
The planned investment includes new rural delivery stations.
