Amazon.com is taking sellers of counterfeit goods on its site to court for the first time.
The e-commerce giant's move come after a number of businesses on Amazon voiced concern that knockoffs were killing their sales and endangering consumers.
Amazon sued a group of sellers for infringing on athletic training equipment developed by TRX. A second suit targets sellers offering fake versions of a patented moving product called Forearm Forklift.
