Amazon suffers glitch as Prime Day kicks off

Amazon’s Prime Day got off to a rocky start.

Around 3 p.m. Eastern Time, when Amazon launched the annual promotion, site outages spiked.

Error pages displayed images of dogs with the message, “Sorry, something went wrong on our end.”
