Amazon delivery drivers and Starbucks baristas have gone on strike in several U.S. cities just ahead of the Christmas holiday.
Amazon workers at seven delivery stations in California, New York, Georgia and Illinois are striking for higher wages, better benefits and safer working conditions, The Associated Press reports.
Starbucks Workers United alleges the company failed to honor a February commitment to reach a labor agreement this year. A handful of large cities have striking workers.
