Amazon reaches EU antitrust settlement

Amazon avoided a multibillion-dollar fine by agreeing to an antitrust settlement with the European Union.

The e-commerce corporation has committed to a series of changes to address allegations that it was using independent sellers' data to its advantage.

One commitment is that Amazon will stop using nonpublic data on independent sellers for its retail business.
