Amazon.com Inc. announced it's raising the minimum wage for all of its U.S. employees.
Starting Nov. 1, more than 250,000 current employees and 100,000 seasonal holiday employees will see their pay rise to $15 per hour.
Company officials also announced plans to lobby Congress for an increase in the federal minimum wage.
