Amazon Prime Day breaks record

Amazon's third-annual Prime Day was its biggest yet.

Sales grew by over 60 percent during the 30-hour promotion compared with the same period a year earlier.

Amazon officials said a "record number" of Prime members shopped across 13 countries.
