Amazon posts mixed quarterly results

Amazon.com Inc. reported mixed second-quarter results.

Revenue of $113 billion was less than the $115.4 billion predicted by analysts.

However, earnings were $7.8 billion, or $15.12 a share, compared with expectations of $12.28 per share.
