Amazon poised to release 3-D smartphone?

Amazon's most recent YouTube video has techies all aflutter.
 
The video, released Wednesday, doesn't show Amazon's new device. It won't be revealed until June 18. But the reactions of the people in the video to the device has many speculating we are finally getting that promised 3-D phone, according to CNNMoney.
 
The device is reported to create hologram-like 3-D images that seem to hover above the screen. Retina-tracking technology that responds to users' movements allows images to move if the phone tilts, keeping the images 3-D from all angles.
