Amazon, Netflix and several others are filing suit against a rival streaming service.
The plaintiffs, including Sony Pictures, Disney and Warner Bros., make up the Alliance for Creativity and Entertainment, an industry trade group that opposes content piracy.
In the suit, the plaintiffs claim streaming service Set TV committed “mass infringement” of copyrighted materials.
Set TV bills itself as a serice with access to more than 500 channels for as little as $20 per month. Officials with the service could not be reached for comment on the lawsuit.
