Amazon has considered purchasing some Toys R Us stores, people familiar with the matter told Bloomberg.
The company is not interested in maintaining the Toys R Us brand. Rather, it's considered the soon to be vacant spaces for its own purposes.
Amazon and Toys R Us officials declined to comment on the report by Bloomberg.
