Amazon bumps up security to protect 'Lord of the Rings' series

Amazon Studios is going to great lengths to protect its "Lord of the Rings" TV series.

The writers room's windows have been taped closed, a security guard sits outside and a fingerprint scan is required to gain access.

Amazon is reportedly investing more than $1 billion to bring the "Lord of the Rings" series to fruition.
